A 2-acre market garden is the training ground for apprentices in their first year at the Seed Farm. Managed by experienced organic farmer and Seed Farm executive director, Sara Runkel, Seed Farm apprentices gain hands on experience preparing the soil, as well as seeding, transplanting, and managing a wide variety of crops from seed to market.
