The Seed Farm is a new farmer training program and agricultural business incubator project in Southeastern Pennsylvania supported by the County of Lehigh, Penn State Extension, and the USDA's Beginning Farmer and Rancher Development Program. The mission of the Seed Farm is to start and grow new sustainable farms and farmers in the Lehigh Valley and to support the growth of our local food system.

There are many ways for you to support the Seed Farm. If you would like to become a new farmer, please apply to The Seed Farm's apprenticeship program. The Seed Farm also seeks support through volunteer support, equipment and/or material donations, and financial contributions. Please contact Sara Runkel by phone at 610-391-9583 Ext 16 or by email at sara_runkel@theseedfarm.org if you would like to donate your time or other resources.
